Oyé oyé! Neighbors of the village, comrades of our struggles!
Join us on May 4* at 2pm for a Queer Block Party in Parc Émilie-Gamelin! Let's reclaim the space that's ours in this increasingly gentrified and transphobic city. In the middle of the day, let's radiate all our queer joy, anger and sadness. Our flamboyant existences will take on all the place they deserve, invading from park to parliament. Let's raise our voices to reach the government to make it clear that it will never rule over us and our bodies. Together, we'll stand up to the threat of the « Comité des sages ». Together, we take care of ourselves without them.
Our parks, our bodies, our spaces! Against the « Comité des sages », let's organize our resistance!
Until end of day, let's gather in the park to weave the bonds of our communities and find the strength to keep fighting. We invite you to come share free food with us, exchange on political ideas and make a bit of art with chalks to leave traces of our resistance. Of course, music will accompany us to fuel our hopes!
Mobilisation tables will be held to hand out political material. Auto-organized initiatives from groups, collectives and individuals are welcome to keep the space alive. Write to us if you have ideas : queercommunity1312@proton.me
