29-31 March Activities

The demo is coming up and we have a few announcements!

The last weekend of March will be politically busy. We have three days of mobilization planned, as well as queer and feminist meetings!

Transportation to the demo :

THERE WILL BE BUSES LEAVING FROM QUÉBEC AND SHERBROOKE TO THE DEMONSTRATION ON MARCH 31ST!!!

Sherbrooke: bus leaves at 11 AM at 63 rue King Ouest. The bus will leave Montreal at 8 PM to take you back to Sherbrooke.

Quebec City: bus leaves at 10 AM at 1300 8e Avenue (Cégep Limoilou). The bus will leave Montreal at 8 PM to take you back to Quebec.

Details and announcements about the protest :

Starting point still is 600 rue Fullum at 2 PM. This is within walking distance from Papineau metro (green line).
The weather should be okay!

This event is meant to be equally festive and combative. Just like the wider Nous ne serons pas sagescampaign, this protest is organized in the spirit of coalition, diversity of tactics, and solidarity between struggles. We will do our best to make sure everyone feels safe, but we won’t tell you what to do!
Bring your friends, families, housemates, colleagues, your banners and your signs!

Post-protest :

After the protest, there will be a playful and political meeting; time and place to be confirmed (TBC) on March 31st.

At 8 PM, at l’Escogriffe (4467 Saint-Denis), there will be an open mic and show. All proceeds will go to Jeunesse Lambda. Organized by Queer Habitable.
